Jokers Cub Scout Day Camp. They made rockets, learned archery and bb guns, had water games (and a good thing, too, because it was HOT!), learned new games, made up skits and cheers, and had a great time!

Isabelle had a field trip with her preschool class to the park. They were supposed to go jump in the

splash pad, but it was not turned on. Bellybean spent most of her time on the swings. We had hotdogs and

fruit for lunch. Joker also went along to the fieldtrip and would probably not like the photo

of him that I included in the collage! One of Belly's good friends in with her in the top right photo.

Belly celebrated her third birthday this year. We had just a small party at home with family and her little friend. After presents and cake, we spent the rest of the afternoon at the park.

These photos were taken in my parents backyard, when we joined them for dinner with the missionaries from their church. We ate dinner on the patio, and had popsicles for dessert.

We were able to spend the afternoon at the park with an old friend of mine. She was on her mission her in the Cedar Rapids area when I was pregnant with Joker. We hadn't seen each other since he was itty-bitty!

Joker was the only one who made it to mid-night on New Years.

The other two tried so hard, but Belly was out by 9pm and

Poley was sound asleep by 10pm.

 This was a winter that was colder than most. Record freezing

temps post-poned the school Christmas program, Melton

the Warm-Hearted Snowman, until 3 weeks after the kids came

back after Christmas break. The kids did such a great job, it

well worth the wait!

Joker also had his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race,

where he won 3rd Place. Go Joker!
